About Andrew

My passion for baking began after watching my mom make cakes for my friends and family. When I was just nine and had completed 4th grade I put motive into action and participated in a baking camp. While at the camp, I was interviewed and featured in the Houston Chronicle (find article by clicking bolded text). The next year, I began making cakes for friends. At first it was just a hobby, but soon became a job. That summer I learned to develop my skills in the fundamentals of cake decorating at more advanced baking classes. Soon friends offered to pay me for cakes and my mom started posting pictures of my cakes on Facebook. The orders came piling in. This marked the beginning of my company. I was recently featured on KPRC Channel 2, CW39 NewsFix and the Houston Chronicle.

During the school year I bake 1-2 cakes a week and during the summer 3-4 a week. With a little bit of practice, I now proudly serve bigger and better cakes to customers.
